What better way to support the nation’s soldiers, former soldiers and their families than cooking up our national dish?
All you need to do is pick a date in April, then get all your friends, family and colleagues to poppadom round and enjoy a curry together. Hold it in a restauraunt, at home, at work, up a mountain, in the back of a tank; the only limit is your imagination! Whilst you’re scoffing an aromatic korma or a full-flavoured madras, you can help our soldiers, past and present, by popping some money into a pot. But not into the curry pot of course!
How to hold a Big Curry
1 - Visit our website for advice, tricks, tips and materials
2 - Fill yourself up with curry and capture it all on camera
3 - Get all your guests to donate here, and write us a comment while they are at it!
4 - If you are organising the Big Curry you can enter our prize draw. Email us with your name and address. We would also love to hear about how much you raised and what fun you had.
5 - Show us your pics. Either email them in or upload them on your facebook or flickr page and post the link on The Soldiers' Charity facebook wall
Email address: lgarfoot@soldierscharity.org
A Note on Gift Aid: only individual donations are eligible to claim Gift Aid. If you are hosting a Big Curry and your guests donate to you rather than directly to ABF The Soldiers' Charity, you can not then claim Gift Aid on the total.
Gift Aid means an extra 28p for every £1 donated to The Soldiers' Charity, so your donation goes further.
If everyone who donated to The Soldiers' Charity used Gift Aid, we could potentially benefit from an extra £53,000 each year!
