The team will cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End in September 2009 to raise money and awareness for Bone Cancer Research Trust. Hannah Millington is the inspiration behind the trip. Since her diagnosis with osteosarcoma in February 2007, Hannah has battled relentlessly against this primary bone cancer, and has worked tirelessly on behalf of the charity to increase awareness of this agressive form of cancer, which, although rare, primarily affects young people aged between 16 and 25. Research into the causes and treatment of bone cancer receives no funding from either the government or national cancer charities.
