In November 2008 David Perkins and Tom Skipper will be embarking on a 7000 mile journey cycling the length of South America!
They'll be riding in memory of Adam Smith who tragically died due to a brain tumour aged just 15. The charity we have decided to raise money for is named Ali's Dream. They fund research into childhood brain tumours, aiming to reduce the numbers of cases like Adams.
Starting at Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, our route will take us through seven countries. We will cycle through the Atacama Desert, across the salt flats of Bolivia, at altitudes of over 5000m in the Andes, and into 100kph winds in Tierra del Fuego.
