Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I intend to try to complete the 26.2 mile course of the Loch Ness Marathon on the night of 4th/5th October 2008 barefoot in a kilt to commemorate the night march of the Jacobites on the eve of the Battle of Culloden, to celebrate the opening of the new Visitor Centre and above all to draw attention to the invaluable work of and raise funds for Combat Stress. Combat Stress was set up in 1919 to relieve the mental distress and disablement that continue to be suffered by our ex-servicemen and women from active duty experience carried out on our behalf .See Combat Stress website www.combatstress.org.uk
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COMBAT STRESS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me before 5th. October,2008, the date of the Loch Ness Marathon.
