<p><span style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">Why are we doing this?</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">We'll be honest with you, Christmas 2011 was a heavy one for us all here and stepping back into the office in January it became apparent very quickly that we could do with getting back in shape but wait (or perhaps weight may be more appropriate) why not use the situation to try and raise some money along the way?</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">Bionic have worked within the licensing industry since we first opened our doors ten years ago and we've always been big supporters of the Light Fund but we felt it time to do something ourselves for the cause and hopefully ask the licensing industry for their support with our efforts.</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">So what's the plan? Well we're going to cycle from our offices in Wandsworth London beginning on the 1st February up to the North Pole and back again finishing at the Grosvenor Hotel on the evening of the Licensing Awards (September 11th). The twist here is that we won't be leaving our offices to undertake the 5,376 mile journey. As a digital agency we'll be taking this challenge on virtually - by way of two exercise bikes (kindly donated by our friends at Pure Gym) against a series of atmospheric backdrops (printed and supplied by Clicks Digital). Every minute of our journey will be streamed live from this site so tune in and watch us hopefully tone up and more importantly make a pledge and help us raise a lot of money for a number of very worthy charities!</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">You can get involved too:</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">Sponsor us by the mile - with 5,376 of them up for grabs we're suggesting £50 a mile. You'll be featured on the daily update, your clients, colleagues and friends can watch your herculean efforts via the web cam and we'll even make you a nice cup of tea after your shift, or beer…</span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';"><br></span><span style="font-family: 'Lucida Grande';">Got a costume character? Send them in to cycle with us!
