My story

Welcome to Birmingham Future's fundraising page. On Sunday 26th October, 2008, a team from Birmingham Future will be joining thousands of other runners taking part in the first Birmingham half marathon, sponsored by EDF Energy. The team will be running the 13.1 miles around the city in aid of Birmingham Community Foundation and it needs your help to raise as much money as possible for this extremely worthy cause. So far, the team consists of: Matt Taylor - Headline Communications, and Chairman of Birmingham Future; Bina Ganatra - Lloyds TSB Corporate, Chair of Future's Marketing & Communications Committee; Gareth Poole - Turner & Townsend, Chair of Future's Membership Committee; Roula Samaha - Radisson SAS, Chair of Future's BYPY Committee; Geoff Geurin - BHSF; Neil Murphy - Lloyds TSB Corporate; Jason Norris - Birmingham Future's Graduate Apprentice 2007; Mayur Murali - Graduate Apprentice 2008; Anthony McCourt - Wragge & Co., BYPY Winner 2008; However, we are hoping that more Birmingham Future members will sign up to join the team, and in doing so increase our fundraising efforts. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Birmingham Community Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support.
