Hotel du Vin and Malmaison are joining forces by cycling over 1200 miles from Newcastle to Plymouth zig-zagging across the country and visiting all 24 Blood Centres nationwide. Lorraine Jarvie, GM, Hotel du Vin Bristol, is looking forward to facing a challenge of this proportion and hopes that the efforts of all the cyclists will spread greater awareness of the services that Bloodbikes provides, and raise enough money to buy a New Emergency 4x4 Vehicle and Motorcycle for Bloodbikes to carry blood and surgical equipment to hospitals quickly.
