Thanks for visiting our fundraising page in aid of Wooden Spoon.

September 11th, 7.30am, south tip of Lake Windemere.  We'll be there for the start of the 2009 Great Lakeland Challenge...........no, not watching but doing it!  The event is in its 9th year with Ford Motor Company as the Official Vehicle Sponsor.  Team aim to canoe 10.5 miles, cycle 26 miles over 1 in 3 mountain passes and then complete an 8.5 mile hike over 3200 feet Scafell Pike.  England's longest lake, steepest mountain passes and highest mountain - all within 12 hours.  The training starts now and we'll be spurred on in the knowledge that our efforts and your sponsorship will help to give disadvantaged children in Britain and Ireland a chance to achieve their full potential in life.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Wooden Spoon gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Ian, Nicola, James and Stephen
