My story

International wildlife charity Born Free Foundation has a track record of putting in place highly effective field projects in response to threats faced by wildlife.

In order to ensure the best possible long term support for elephants, Born Free is working with government wildlife authorities in Burkina Faso (West Africa) to ensure that funds raised through Bloody Ivory can be put to use in the most efficient way. An agreement has been finalised enabling the establishment of L’Équipe des Éléphants (Team Elephant) – a new anti-poaching unit to safeguard West Africa’s largest remaining elephant population.

As a donor you’ll receive updates of what your money is doing for elephants. It is a 100% fund - as administrator of this fund, Born Free will make NO deductions of any kind - every dollar, pound, euro, lira, rupee and dinar you give will go towards law enforcement operations which protect elephants on the ground. YOU will be supporting urgently needed elephant conservation measures in Africa. YOU will be joining the fight to protect elephants from poaching.
