The Bluecube Dartmoor Challenge 2008
Last year the team at Bluecube slept rough to raise money for NCH the Children’s Charity.
This year we continue to support youth focused charities by competing in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Dartmoor Challenge 2008, with an aim of raising over £2,500 for the charity who helps over a quarter of a million young people turn their lives around each year.
Taking place on 29th - 31st August 2008, at the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, staff will undergo a series of tough survival challenges with the goal to win against other teams also competing.
Hiking, Biking and sleeping rough (Bluecube should be well prepared for this part - Bluecube Bytenight 2007 - www.bytenight.org.uk) will take the team, led by Chief Executive James Hawker, to new levels of team development.
James mentions, "This is what real team work is about, it also gives us the chance to do more for a charity we support!"
In the era where the media take great pleasure in vilifying young people, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award sets the record straight by allowing young people all across the UK to write their own amazing stories.
As a charity, it exists to help every young person, but especially young people who are particularly vulnerable, benefit, often changing their lives.
With your support, Bluecube together with The Award can help more young people in the UK. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Bluecube.
Thank you
