My story

Thanks so much for your generous giving but we have no closed our Christmas Appeal until next year. Unfortunately I have had to do so slightly earlier than expected but put the money in an envelope and keep it until next year!

Last year the Boagworld community raised over £1000 for an orphanage and school in the heart of rural India (Chinnia Kalvarayan hills,Tamil Nadu). This year we want to do it again!

The Bethesda Project take in kids that have no family left and teach many others who would normally have little in the way of formal education. They give these kids a chance to change their lives and to become something more. In fact they have been so successful that the children are starting to look at higher education. For example one girl called Rachel is now training to be a doctor in China even though she had never been on a bus let alone flown to another country.

All of this kind of work is expensive and has to be continually funded. That is why Boagworld is trying to raise money again this year.

We don't charge for our podcast and never will. Instead we ask you to give a little each year to a charity. If you appreciate the show and if it has been useful to your job, then surely it is worth a few dollars.

How much is the Boagworld podcast worth to you?

Don't be confused by the fact that the giving is to the Riverside charity. This is just the body who manages the fund raising for Bethesda
