Raising money for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution

Charity Registration No. 209603

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Its volunteer lifeboat crews rescue an average of 22 people every day and RNLI lifeguards provide a seasonal lifeguard service on selected beaches. The RNLI is independent from Government and relies on donations from people like you.

2012, 10 years since the first ever Bobby on a Bike event…to mark this occasion there are 3 massive events taking place.

The first is over Easter weekend, when Neil Smith and Rob Bryan take on the worlds longest canoe marathon. The Devizes to Westminster, 77 portages, 125 miles, non-stop.

The second is the 5th May Ride. Over 4 days at the end of May, 58 riders will cycle the best part of 400 miles in 4 days, on a very challenging route across the UK, from the East coast to the West Coast – Aldeburgh to Aberystwyth.

The 3 will take place during the May Ride, Neil Smith and Rob Bryan, ‘fresh’ from the DW, will attempt to cycle the ‘May Ride’ non stop!
