ACCORD Hospice provides specialist palliative care to over 1,800 patients and families each year from the community of Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire. Every donation makes a huge impact and we are grateful for the support you have given ACCORD. Thank you.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

You always hope that you'll never have the need to call on help from the Clinical Nurse Specialists based at the Accord Hospice - if you do however, its the right kind of help just when you need it most - timely, expert, extremely dedicated and very understanding. The palliative care team support not only the individual patients but those impacted when cancer strikes. The nurses help with all forms of practical advice. Crucially, it also provides someone to talk to when you think everything is conspiring against you.

To support this vital work, myself and a group of equally mad friends, listed below, will be cycling round Millport at the end of June (regardless of the weather!) - Please sponsor this activity by donating whatever you can to ensure that the next person in need receives as much help and support as Eleanor & myself.  Many thanks.

Thanks also in advance to those taking part - Angela Mulholland, Alison Anderson, John Whaley, Lindsey Hillis, Julie & Simon Gregory, Gillian McIlveen, Angela McCann & Cammy Foster, Andy, Stuart & Katie Cooke, Julie McCartney, David Ritchie, Jo Marenghi, David Eastop, Pete Duncan, Ryan & Ethan Telfer, and Elaine, Laurel & Kate Mcluckie.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Accord Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
