Cord is an international charity that works with people in highly sensitive and oppressive contexts to transform dysfunctional relationships into those that create peaceful & inclusive societies. Our Mission is to transform dysfunctional relationships between individuals and communities and those holding power into positive and thriving relationships built on mutual dependency and trust. Cord works in partnership with local community based organisations to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise with a view to enabling them to more effectively advocate on behalf of communities with government, private companies, and others with power and leverage to impact the quality of life of disadvantaged communities.

I'm trying to raise enough £ to help 1,000 families in wartorn Burundi build latrines so that they no longer have to use the bush. CORD has been working in eastern Burundi since 2005 helping people returning home after years of conflict. To find out more about CORD got to www.cord.org.uk.
