The Bootle Emergency Flood Appeal has been established to support those that were affected by the flash floods that occured in July 2010.
In some streets of Bootle homes have been devastated by the floods, and damage to several households has meant many residents have been evacuated from their properties and may not be able to return for several months. Many are in temporary accommodation, with no access to food and drink.
The Bootle Emergency Flood Appeal is a response to support those affected by the floods, both in the short-term and in the long-term. The appeal is being managed by the Community Foundation for Merseyside, Registered Charity Number 1068887. The Fund is supported by Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council, One Vision Housing, Sefton CVS and St. Leonard's Church in Bootle.
