My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This year will be my 50th birthday and I have set myself the challenge of completing the Ironman UK Triathlon on 20 August.

The Ironman Triathlon consists of a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike, finished off with a 26.2 mile run.

I am doing this event in memory of my nephew, who died recently aged 14 months, so half the money I raise will go to the Leukaemia Research Fund, and the other half will go to Rotary-nominated charities, including The Children's Hospice Association and the Air Ambulance Service.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Leukaemia Research Fund and Rotary-IronmanUK Triathlon Charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
