Hello, welcome, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.....
As some of you may be aware I am embarking on a 4 month voluntary project in Nepal later this month. This will be organised through the multi-national organisation Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange. For the duration of the 4 months I will be living and working at an orphanage called Aashna Anathalaya in the Chitwan National Park area. It is home to children between the ages of 4 and 10. I will provide an extra set of hands to help with the day to day aspects of the children's lives as well as being a friend to them and teaching them English.
As you can imagine, these 4 months will be some of the most challenging and therefore rewarding periods in my life.
I will be leaving for Nepal on the 28th of February which does not leave me long to raise the necessary cash for expenses and teaching resources. I have been working hard at my day job but any donations that you feel able to make will be greatly appreciated.
