Story
The Lowe Syndrome Trust was founded in June 2000 by parents of a child diagnosed with the Lowe Syndrome disease. The charity is small, and voluntary with an aim of raising awareness and funding to support medical research into Lowe Syndrome, an incurable children's disease which affects the brain, eyes, kidneys, bones and muscles. Since forming, the charity has funded seven UK research Projects.
From 7th to 10th June 2007 I will be taking part in a sponsored cycle ride from Marseille to Monaco to support this charity. With distances ranging from 60kms (uphill!) to 125 kms a day in searing heat, I will be making sure I take my gel seat and sunblock and a water tank.
The charity needs support so please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Lowe Syndrome Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
