My story

Overtaken by Minnie Mouse, a 10 foot Macmillan Nurse, and a whole herd of rhinos, I did wonder, when the heavens opened and the thunder started, whether it would be a good excuse to stop if I could be struck by lightening.  The lightening failed me, and I did manage to finish the London Marathon.  Thank you to all my sponsors for the incentive to complete.

I was running to support Christian Aid's work with young people, for example in their support for partners like SEND in Ghana.  SEND equips young people to build their own future, by training them in trades such as needlework, carpentry or hairdressing.   The training also includes business education and reproductive health awareness, and contributes to good relations in an ethnically and religiously diverse region.

If you haven't sponsored me yet, your support will be very welcome.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christian Aid will receive your money fast and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support

Brian
