On the weekend of the 12 and 13 July 2008 a group of friends are taking part in a 300m Zip-slide and 53m Abseil from the top of the famous ‘Transporter Bridge’ in Newport, Gwent.
The purpose of these daredevil antics is to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Cymru/Wales, a charity that is very close to the hearts of all the participants. The majority of which have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and they are supported by relatives of people with MS.
MS is the most common neurological disease amongst young adults in the UK, with an estimated 85,000 people affected. The MS Society is the largest charity operating to help and support these people, their families and carers.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: MS Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
