Despite appalling weather in May, 2007, The Brit Chicks managed to build a freefalling 52-way cross to help raise funds and awareness for the British Red Cross. With support from friends and family we raised £32,000. Whilst a fantastic achievement (a cross is a particularly difficult and fragile formation to build and hadn't been done before) our goal had also been to break the British women's formation record which was made in 2004 by the Brit Chicks where 60 women built a simpler freefalling formation.

SO WE ARE BACK! The Brit Chicks have our fingers crossed for good weather to enable us to build a 68 way freefalling red cross over 8-9 and 14-16 Sep. We hope to smash the current record and increase our fund raising efforts to exceed £40,000.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Red Cross will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now! With sincere thanks for your support.
