Edinburgh Marathon 2011 · 22 May 2011 ·

Amnesty International UK is movement of ordinary people standing up for humanity and human rights. Some of our campaigns includes refugees, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, and conflict-affected countries. When we unite even the smallest acts of humanity make a difference.

Story

We're running the Edinburgh Marathon (between us as a relay), and we wish to use the opportunity to raise money for Amnesty International.

Given the on-going Arab Spring, we felt that a charity that promotes democracy and human rights would be appropriate.

Please help us by donating £2 or more. Thanks!

P.s.: Did you know that Amnesty International once helped Kirsty write a letter to Saddam Hussein?
