Thanks for taking the time to visit the Stowmarket Volunteer Police Cadets MyWiSH Soapbox Challenge JustGiving page.

Stowmarket VPC will be taking part in the MyWiSH Soapbox Challenge 2019 to raise money for West Suffolk Hospital. The money raised this
year will be going to the Butterfly Appeal which cares for end of life and palliative care patients.

The event is a downhill timed race in unpowered 'carts' on a closed road, featuring obstacles, ramps and turns. One of the Stowmarket Cadets, Hannah Crane (pictured), will be our race driver and will be supported by Cadets and Leaders from the unit.

The Stowmarket VPC Entry and Cart has kindly been supported by a Suffolk Resident (who donated the entry free to the MyWiSH Charity, PPG (who arranged for the cart to have its infamous police 'Battenberg' livery), Suffolk Constabulary Transport Services (who donated the badges and signage) and Mark Crane (pictured) who put in a phenomenal amount of his own time and effort to source, build and construct the cart with the assistance of the cadets.

The event will take place on Saturday 31st August from 1030am -
1500pm at the Priory School, Bury St Edmunds.
