Story

Thank you for visiting our page!

This sponsored bike ride for CAFOD includes two choices of routes to follow - 10 miles from Cheshunt to Broxbourne and back or 18 miles from Ponders End Lock to Broxbourne and back. Both rides follow the flat, wide tow paths of the River Lee. The Lee Valley Country Park landscape is made up of beautiful water-lily covered lakes, grasslands and a variety of wildlife. The route is off-road and suitable for all levels of cyclists; however we ask that all riders under the age of 18 are accompanied by a responsible adult.

The bike ride will have two assembly points; the first meeting will be at Ponders End Lock, Wharf Road EN3 4TD  for the 18 mile ride. The second assembly point will be at Pindar Car Park, Windmill Lane, Cheshunt EN8 9AJ for the 10 mile ride.

This will be a family friendly event with the opportunity to have a pinic midway
