About the charity
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team provides a search and rescue service on the moorlands of the South Pennines. In addition the team is increasingly called upon to assist in urban searches. The team is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers who are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
