My story
On Saturday 5th May 2012 a team of vets, nurses and receptionists from Calder will carry out the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge to raise money for the Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity.
The charity is dedicated in improving the lives of sick and unwanted pets. The Blue Cross takes in animals of all shapes and sizes, from hamsters to horses, and finds them loving new homes. They also ensure thousands more get the veterinary treatment they need when their owners cannot afford to pay. Here at Calder Vets we work closely with this amazing charity. The dedication of the staff to succeed in this challenge is our way of giving just a little something back to a charity that makes such a difference to the hundreds of unwanted strays our veterinary practice treat every year.

Well we did it and thank you all for your support. This was not an easy challenge but the support from everyone made us even more determined to complete it :-) The challenge took us 11hrs to complete. I will post photo's of our day shortly.... but once again thank you :-))))
Thank you everyone we have reached our target £700.00. Now lets up that to £850.00 ** NEW TARGET** :-)

Well Saturday just gone we tackled Whernside Peak and what a fabulous day it was. Not long now until we do all three!!! Ekkk!. The team is so excited about the challenge and we can't wait to get going .... BRING ON THE 5TH MAY!! Thank you all for your support :-) xx
