Story

UPDATE We've finished! The eight teams taking part put in a mighty 603.05 miles, which is 15 miles further than in 2009 and seven miles further than the original 2010 target. And, more importantly, over the magic 600 mile mark.

New Forest CC contributed 75.84 of those miles in our three one-hour stints (up from 72.04 last year), an average of 25.28mph (slightly higher than the overall event average of 25.13mph).

We're pretty chuffed - please make us more chuffed by the input of money :)

The New Forest Cycling Club will once again be taking part in the Team Midland 24hr Trackathon on 19/20 November at Calshot Velodrome in aid of BBC Children in Need. We'll be one of a number of teams taking part, aiming to carry Pudsey around the track for 24 hours between us. Last year the assembled riders managed 588 miles - is 600 on this year?
