Forest Holme Hospice provides end of life care and support to more than 1,000 local people each year with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Each year we need to raise at least £900,000 to help enhance the NHS provision at the hospice and ensure that Forest Holme is there for patients and their family and friends during the most difficult time of their lives.

Last year, our amazing team of Get Fit supporters raised almost £20,000 for the patients and families cared for at Forest Holme.

What's the challenge

Run, walk, skip, hop, cycle, swim, roll or flip, just get physical & get those endorphins pumping. You set the challenge; a goal according to your fitness level at a time that suits you. You could challenge yourself to run 5K each week for a month, take on your very own Hospice Hike, set your own cycling challenge, Or show off your moves and have a 2 hour, 12 hour or 24 hour danceathon.

Your Fundraising

You set your own challenge and your own fundraising target. So just sign up and raise what you can. Everyone who takes part will receive a very special Get Fit For Forest Holme medal. As an extra little incentive if you raise over £500 we will send you a very very special Forest Holme hoodie.
