Story
We need to raise £20,000 to support teenage girls education in Asia which has been severely affected by the Covid pandemic. If girls from disadvantaged backgrounds are not given the assistance they need to complete their education, it can spell the end of their dreams.
Help us raise the funds vital for their future.
Where will the money go ?
Over and above the regular support provided by PAWA for classroom learning, school supplies, extracurricular activities, teacher training, and so on, the funds raised through this challenge will go toward providing technical support for online learning, and for emergency food supplies and hygiene kits
The challenge started on 29th May 2021 in Lahore and we completed the 10,500km route in Indonesia on 16th June 2021 in record time, just 19 days ! Congratulations to our amazing walkers, runners and cyclists who put in a tremendous effort. We are now aiming to continue to keep up the challenge until we reach our fundraising target of £20,000. Do support the campaign - every little bit helps. Just £12 will give one of our girls extra support needed to keep studying despite the pandemic.
The challenge went through 8 countries - check out the Milestone greetings from PAWAs 13 projects in the Gallery below.
