Story
The Exmouth Colour Bomb is back and its due to be even bigger and better than last year. Organised in aid of the Deaf Academy of the first time last year the fun run saw around 200 intrepid runners take on the Colour Bomb stations on Exmouth beach. The glorious weather and event continued to be enjoyed by many with live music and entertainment at Queens Drive Space (QDS).This year the event aims to attract 500 runners with early bird registration offers, family tickets and corporate teams.
"We are delighted to be hosting this event again. We would love everyone to be able to get involved with this fantastic community event so we have come up with a range of ways to vary the cost of entry and reward peoples' fundraising. Once again we have LM Events and LED on board as partners and welcome the addition of the Exmouth Chamber as new event partners, encouraging the local business community to take part. Come and enjoy this great day out on Exmouth Beach". Sarah Shaw, Fundraising Manager at the Deaf Academy
With the doors of the new Deaf Academy opening in Exmouth this year, the Colour Bomb provides the perfect opportunity for the local community to demonstrate their support as we welcome the staff and Deaf students.
"I loved last years event. It was such a fun, colourful, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful location. All in the knowledge that you are helping to change young Deaf lives. My daughter and I will definitely be taking part again this year". Shelley, 2019 Colour Bomb Runner
