This beautiful medieval church has served the community of Darton and the surrounding villages for over 500 years, but if it is to go on serving this every growing community, it needs to make some changes.

It is now time to improve the access to the building, to create space for the community, for small gatherings and large events, and to make this stunning building ready to serve this community into the future.

This is a big job, and will cost a lot of money to achieve, but when it is done, Darton and the surrounding villages will have a church which can be used more flexibly, and serve the community as well as being an enhanced place of worship to pray for that same community as we face our shared future.

We are holding various fundraisers, so when donating please state which fundraiser you are supporting - e.g. sponsoring pipes in our renewed organ (£5 each or 5 for £20) or sponsoring our vicar, Fr Tim, to walk the 30 mile Dearne Way wearing his cassock.
