Children love to play, and for GOSH play is a serious business. The GOSH Play team bring fun into the hospital while helping to ease fears and concerns. They let children be children, helping them to feel comfortable and relaxed, while working with them to prepare for life-saving treatment and surgery.
The money you raise at your play date will help fund the hospitals Play team, so it can continue to bring fun and reassurance onto wards when its needed most*. In a nutshell, you get to play, while helping seriously ill children from across the UK!
*Any donation(s) received in relation to the Big Play Date event(s) will be used to fund the Play Services at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. Our target for this appeal is to raise £12,150. In the event that additional donations are received over and above our target and/or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospitals most urgent needs.
