Each year for 'Live Your Life' Weekend, the customers and staff across the Beds & Bars Group have been fantastic supporters of families caring for child cancer patients and the work of Team Margot.

Through your amazing generosity, we have been able to provide grants of £1,000 to families caring for child cancer patients. Often referred to as 'emergency grants' by hospital staff, these grants are for families to spend whichever way they need.

Each year, approximately 3700 children and their families are diagnosed with a form of cancer. In addition to the devastating effect this can have on the patient and family, many experience financial difficulties as a result.

We know how hard life can be when caring for a sick child. When Margot was being treated in hospital, her parents Yaser & Vicki saw many families struggling to make ends meet, often for some of the most basic needs. This was for a variety of reasons, not least because of the parents inability to work. Often these families accumulate significant debts and some are bankrupted by the illness.

Team Margot has already made over 250 of these "emergency" grants since 2015 via our network of hospitals and with your help we can do more.
