Story

Preston Primary School's Pond to Pond Challenge

Our school would love to have its very own pond for everyone to enjoy and learn from - are you ready to help make it happen?

Our fundraising challenge for our school community is to walk a collective total of 1,000km or 4,740 laps of the school track, where we will virtually visit some amazing ponds before returning to the planned site for the school pond. Will we reach our target before the end of term?

During the challenge we will be sharing some fun and interesting facts about ponds around the world. We will also be running some competitions along the way with prizes for reception, KS1 and KS2.

The estimated cost for the school pond is £2,500 which once built we hope will enrich our children's learning experience at school while also offering a quiet, tranquil site for reflection.

Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated and helps toward reaching our target.
