Whether you are taking part by swimming the Solent, doing laps in your local pool or simply sponsoring our fantastic team of swimmers, you'll be helping to raise awareness of Parkinson's and helping people with Parkinson's to adjust to life after their diagnosis with a positive mindset. Thank you.
Although the first date had to be moved due to COVID-19, the original team of 12 swimmers are now aiming to complete the Solent 5km crossing on Sunday 5 September 2021. Team members have either been diagnosed with Parkinson's or are closely linked to someone with it.
You can take part wherever you are by joining the 5km Pool Swim Challenge from August - December. All you need to do is head down to your local pool or open water facility and match the miles of the Solent Swimmers. Do it in one day, or take your time - it's completely up to you.
