Coming together as a community to celebrate Christmas feels more important than ever this year, so we would love if you would join us for Christmas Jumper Day 2020.

The official Christmas Jumper Day this year is Friday the 11th of December, but you can make it any day that suits you. We will be there to support you along the way with fundraising materials, fantastic ideas for extra activities and expert advice any time you need it.

The premise is simple: wear your most fabulous festive jumper for a day and donate to the hospice. You can set up your own JustGiving page and ask for online donations, so no cash will need to be exchanged.

If you're feeling extra Christmassy this year, why not take on our Christmas Jumper Advent Challenge and wear a Christmas Jumper every day from 1st December until 25th December! Perfect for the Christmas Jumper Connoisseur to show off their collection or perhaps you would like to nominate your very own Scrooge, and see if it gets them in the spirit! Ask friends, family and colleagues for sponsorship.

2020 has been a challenging time for St Wilfrid's, and we've had to adapt the way we care for our patients and the local community significantly. With many of our Spring fundraising events cancelled we had to look at different, creative ways to engage with our local community, and raise much needed funds to make up for the shortfall in our usual fundraising income.

This year, we are aiming to raise over £10,000 from Christmas Jumper Day so that we can continue to support our patients and their families in the wake of the effects that Covid-19 has had on our services.
