Story
Winter Streets Project began in 2016 with just a small batch of 150 basic homeless kits made by founder Lou Ballard. These kits included thermal hat, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb and chocolate, and were deliver around central London. This was the beginning of Winter Streets Project.
The following year, with some fundraising and donations received Winter Streets Project (WSP) was about to make up 462 survival kits, and deliver across London and the South Coast helping far more people in need. With this support WSP was able to register as a charity in 2018 and produce 750 survival kits, that were delivered across 16 cities and towns, including Brighton & Hove, Bristol, Oxford, Winchester and many more.
