Story

On an average day Celia Hammond Animal Trust receives an average of 20-30 calls for help about cats and kittens in desperate situations across London. Many of them are rescued in their family groups which is why we have launched the Tiny Paws Appeal.

The Mums & Kittens Nursery will give more space for the cats to be treated together as a family with space for them to move around in a safe and cosy environment. In an average year we could care for approximately 600 cats and kittens in the nursery.

There will be large, specifically designed family cat cabins in the new facility and a hospital style coved flooring to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness. The total cost to build and run the nursery for a year will be £50,000

Celia says 'This new appeal will make such a difference to city cats and kittens. Some arrive on the brink of death, dirty, in pain and clinging on to one another - we clean them, give them the best veterinary treatment and care for them until they are well enough to go to their new homes'.'This facility for mums and kittens will give them a new start to life. Nо amount of mоnеу is too ѕmаll tо соntrіbutе. In fact, £2 from 25,000 people or £5 from 10,000 реорlе would build it’.
