Story

Music Therapy changes lives! In the words of a parent of a disabled child: "Music is an essential tool for M. The music enables her to communicate in ways which would be almost impossible and this builds on relationships and trust which M interacts with her peers. Music is  EVERYTHING for M and it always has been and always will be."

There will be at least two music therapists using the new clinic which will mean we can reach more children and adults living with challenging health conditions such as autism, learning disability, brain injury, stroke and dementia.

Situated in the heart of Dunfermline behind the Fire Station Creative, it will be be easy for people to park and access. We have secured over £18,000 and have £6000 to go.

About the charity

We are Scotland's only music therapy charity and help people with a wide range of conditions such as autism, cerebral palsy and dementia. We provide almost 400 sessions a week to children and adults facing serious health challenges. Our work improves communication, well-being and quality of life.
