Story

This is Champ and Daisy

After years of neglect they were rescued and brought to the Llys Nini animal centre in Penllergaer.

Both Champ and Daisy were diagnosed as deaf and blind due to a severe birth defect. They also suffer from a permanent ear infection and Champ also has a painful hip dislocation on his right leg.

Despite their terrible plight, both Champ and Daisy are wonderful loving pets and play and interact with other dogs and people, amazingly.

Daisy has already found a forever home where she can be shown the affection and joy that a loving family provides.

However, despite the fantastic recovery Champ and Daisy have made from their ordeal, the infection in their ears has caused their ear drums to rupture and is causing them considerable discomfort.

There is an operation that will cure their discomfort and pain permanently, but it’s very expensive.

The surgery and aftercare could cost over £10,000.

We need your help to raise the money needed to fund the operations, Champ and Daisy desperately need.

With your help we can make sure Champ and Daisy and other animals that require veterinary care, live happy and rewarding lives. All donations no matter how big and small will help make a difference not just to Champ and Daisy, but to many more animals in our care.
