We are nearing our  Raise the Roof  target of £750,000, which will enable us to  start the work needed to make St Ninian's Cathedral watertight again in the New Year.  This amount has been achieved through the hard work of many members of the congregation, the generosity of donors  such as yourself and the Funding bodies who have responded to our requests for Grants.

‘Buy a Slate’ is our last official Fund raiser for 2016 - and if all 10,000 slates get sold, we'll reach our target. If you would like to buy a slate (or several) in memory of someone, we shall  eventually be putting together a Restoration Project folder. This will include a drawing of the roof with requested  names on the slates , so when you  visit the cathedral you will be able to identify the bit of the roof that you helped purchase!

Of course, this is only Phase 1 of our Restoration Project,so look out for more Fundraising efforts in the coming year, as we continue to raise money for Phase 2.
