Story

Over a weekend in August 2017, six plucky, two-wheeled warriors (Mark Burns, Shane Hodson, Damien Prior, Andy Radcliffe, Matt Groves, Paul Hart and support) will be attempting the famous London to Paris cycle challenge, which is close to 300 miles over 3 days cycling. 

The Campbell Burns Metabolic Trust offers support to families of children aged ten and under diagnosed with a metabolic disorder.The Trust aims to:

  • provide education and awareness of metabolic disorders
  • assist in the provision of recreational and leisure time
  • assist in the relief of financial hardship for families of children with metabolic disorders
  • to be active in fundraising

The Trust was established in the name of Campbell Burns, born in January 2012 and diagnosed with Leigh's Disease in March 2012, a terminal metabolic disorder.
