Well you can't change the weather!! After a rainy week I was delighted to wake up (a touch nervous) in St. Andrews to see not a single cloud in the sky, a beautiful day. Unfortunately there is a 20 kt wind limit for tandem jumps and it was 25kts all morning and expected to pick up in the afternoon. I hung round for a few hours but there was no chance of jumping today. Hopefully get it done in the next fortnight.

Last week the young daughter of my lifelong friend was diagnosed with leukaemia and admitted to Aberdeen Royal Children's Hospital. Nicky, Sean and young Holly will be living there for the next six months. I thought the least I could do, in addition to my domestic goddess cooking rations, was raise a few pennies for ARCHIE (Aberdeen Royal Children's Hospital Is Excellent).
Aberdeen Royal Children's Hospital has helped some other friend's kids as well and I know the excellent facilities have made these difficult times easier.
I'm not as crazy as some other friends who use justgiving so won't be doing 7 off-road marathons or an ironman triathlon but want to raise money by doing a sponsored skydive. Please be assured that EVERY penny will go to charity as I am paying for the skydive myself and jumping at the same time as other ARCHIE's fundraisers.
