About my charity : RAFT RAFT
RAFT is a reconstructive plastic surgery research charity devoted to advancing the care of patients with damage or potential damage to their skin. Our research focuses on repairing burn and other skin injuries through the development of artificial skin, reducing or eliminating scarring and skin cancer prevention. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Help me to help RAFT (Restoration of Appearance and Functional Trust), a charity dedicated to reconstructive plastic surgery research. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I'm currently working on research into skin cancer. It's amazing, that in Britain alone there are 60,000 new cases of skin cancer annually. Of these, melanoma is one of the most fatal of cancers. Moreover, twice as many young women as men are affected but, sadly more men die from it. (Cancer Research UK).

RAFT needs your help to understand how the effects of the sun can be so damaging to our skin; but also how protective those suncreams really are!

Your kind donations will be greatly appreciated, so get giving no matter how small a donation it is.

I'm hoping to run the 10K in under 60 mins.
