A new year and a new fund raiser!

I am going to walk the South Downs Way in September and hope to raise some funds for Alzheimer's Research UK on my way. I have started to train and the Surrey Hills are already posing quite a challenge!

There is so much research that needs to be done and this can only be done with all of our help - sadly there are already 820,000 people living with Alzheimers or dementia and many more will develop it in the years to come as we will be living longer. We need a cure.

Anyone who would like to join me for a day or more will be welcomed with open arms - it should be fun! I will start the 140 mile long walk from Winchester on Tuesday September 13th and hope to finish within 6-8 days in Eastbourne.

If you would like to sponsor me, I would be very grateful for anything that you are able to give.
