You know how important it is to me that people with autism receive the support they need to live happy and fulfilling lives. HOPE runs a range of projects proving that even people with autism and complex needs have talents and can make a positive contribution e.g. in 2009 HOPE's flagship project, Perfect Pots presented a hanging basket to Number 10 and won the UK Social Enterprise in Schools Award.
This year I am running to raise money to help establish and equip a social enterprise which will support adults with autism and a flair for horticulture, giving them a base where they can learn new skills and then earn money providing garden maintenance services. Every little helps: donations of £1 can buy seeds and £5 can buy basic tools. £2000 will buy us a polytunnel.
