Story
I worked for St Barnabas House for three years and saw first hand the amazing end of life care they provide to local people, and also the support they give to their families and loved ones.
In addition to working for St Barnabas House, the hospice also provided end of life care to my friend Alun Bowen, who sadly passed away in June 2017. The care and support they gave to Alun and his family and friends was invaluable and taking part in this trek in his memory just makes it all the more meaningful and important to me.
This trek will not be an easy feat for me...I will be trekking 67km through Rhododendron forests, passing through Hindu settlements and Buddhist Monasteries and will involve a lot of tough ascents! I'm excited for the challenge and to give something back to this incredible organisation.
To meet my minimum sponsorship I will be organising lots of events over the next year and plan to raise as much awareness for St Barnabas House as possible. If you would like to support me in my journey, any donation big or small is really appreciated and will go towards providing hospice care to people in Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield.
Thank you for all your support :)
