Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. For the past 5 years the Pousada dos Duendes guest house has helped local underprivileged children that do not get the necessary support at home with their homework so insuring that they progress in the Brazilian school system which holds children back if they do not attain certain standards at the end of each year.
At present we help around 25 children but are now limited by the space and facilities available within the guest house.The aim of the Casa Grande Project is to raise money to buy a house for the project so that it can expand to do more for the children already involved and take on more children. With the extra space they will have a place to study and play under supervision and so keep them off the streets.
We need £7000 to buy the house and materials to do necessary repairs on a house situated just behind the guest house. That's 700 people giving just £10 - now that can't be too difficult can it? How many people can you get to give £10? Of course you can give less, any little helps and just in case you were wondering, you can give more than £10 if you want.
