St. Clare’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care to adults with life limiting illnesses. As an independent registered charity we must raise around £1.4 million each year towards our annual running costs, which this year are just under £2 million to ensure we can continue to deliver our services free of charge.
This year we are suffering a £50,000 shortfall from our fundraising efforts and with the support of the Shields Gazette we have launched a campaign to ask the local community to help us raise this much needed money.
