**UPDATE**
I did it! Ran the 10K yesterday in a time of approximately 57 minutes so the training (and sponsorship incentives) paid off. The event was fantastic, very inspirational to be competing with so many people running for so many different great causes. Thank you all for your sponsorship - I'll be signing up for the London Half Marathon next week. Seriously......
xx
This summer, I'm going to be participating in the British 10K London Run on 12th July, raising money for YouthNet.
Those of you who saw me run my first 10k in Germany will remember me declaring..."Never, ever again...that was the worst thing I've ever done" whilst red faced in a quivering heap on the floor. This was probably not helped by the diet of beer and meat and sporadic jogs round the Oktoberfest site which constituted my training plan.
So this time it's for real.
I'm going to train, I'm going to finish in under an hour. And I'm going to have to ask you for help to do this.............
So please, sponsor me and spur me on to raise money for YouthNet.....many many thanks!!
